Bargain Find!

About a year ago, Brad and I upholstered a Queen Headboard. Now that we got the King bed, I have been dreading making another headboard. Saturday morning, we went to IHOP in NLR and I happen to see that Haverty's was closing their NLR store and everything was 75% off, at least. I ran in, not expecting to find anything, but I found this headboard over in a corner. That tag said $600, marked down to $88!! I stood and stared at it for a LONG time, thinking its not really my style-I usually like simple furniture, with bold fabrics. But the more I looked, the more it grew on me. I called Brad and the boys in and Brad said "GET IT!" He just doesnt want to "make" another one! It looks really NICE in our bedroom-we've never had a nice headboard. And I love the way the pattern matches the pattern in my bed spread. Yes its missing "Fennuals" spelling? But I can deal with that, maybe even buy and stain my own.

Now any of you design people out there, check out my colors. I got the big white pillow/"Serafina" fabric at Pottery Barn b/c I LOVED it. But my sage green walls just dont look great now. Brad says NO WAY to painting, but I'm itching for a change. Sooooo, I;m thinking cream walls. Here's the room in pottery barn, but I cant have a white comforter with the boys so I'de keep the chocolate and add more serafina pillows or a throw:

I could also paint the room the colors of the (above) curtains, then have creme curtains or something.
