Veronika's First WRC Trip!

Dippin Dot Break...

Pics taken from my phone...

I took the boys and Veronika to Wild River Country today. I didnt realize it was Veronika's first time. She was SO excited. I loved watching her face light up. She rode EVERY single slide in the park and loved all of them!

The boys are much braver this year. They ride all the big slides, except for 3 of them-mainly bc they are dark inside. Our friends, Tate and Garrett, took Jackson and Veronika on some big ones at the end and they loved it.

I didnt realize how little Tucker Bear was until we were at the top of a slide-one where he has to sit by themself and its a pretty long slide and people were saying "Awww-he's so little-look at him, he's so brave!" I looked around and realized there were definitely no other kids his size...but he loves it and does so great. The lifeguards communicate so the bottom life guard knows to catch Tucker at the end bc Im stuck at the very top. Both him and Jackson wear floaties/life jackets the whole day, so no worries there.

Anyway, I wasnt able to wish Veronika a Happy Birthday last week bc I didnt have my camera at her party, but Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Also, Happy Birthday to Genevieve!! We love you and cant wait for you to visit us!

Thoughts from a 3 year old..(about poop, as usual)

Tucker just went to the potty 3 times in 5 minutes-all #2's. I had to go in a wipe him each time. Finally, I said "Tucker-where is all this poop coming from?!" And he quickly replied "From my booty!" Duh, mom!

The 4th with Friends

Brad and I left Friday night (after Veronika's b-day party) and traveled to Springfield to stay with our great friends, Tyler and Catherine. Brad and Tyler have been best friends for 10 years now. I met Catherine in nursing school, then we were L&D nurses at Willow Creek together. Brad and I "set them up" so to speak...ironically, they are both from Springfield, MO. They were married 3 years ago-3 weeks after Tucker was born-luckily we were able to travel and be in their wedding!

Silly Boys

We had a wonderful weekend. Catherine and I went shopping and I got the BEST deals! I got a $32 shirt for $4 at Macy's. Also, I got a $160 Maggie London dress for Liz' wedding for $30 at Dillards! The best thing is that I had Dillard's Dollars. We added it up and I ended up getting about $300 worth of stuff for $4 (after using gift cards, Dillard's dollars, etc)! What a fun day of shopping!

The boys play golf and Im sure they had a blast. Then we all went to a cook-out with Tyler's parents and their friend. We had yummy ribs, chicken and sides. After that, we went to Hickory Hills country club and met up with Catherine's parents to watch the fireworks. The weather was perfect and most importantly they played Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" (per Tyler and Brad's request) during the fireworks, so we felt like our 4th was complete!

The only thing we were missing was our little angels, who stayed with Poppa and Dodi. They had a fun weekend-swimming, shooting fireworks, going to Wonderplace (picture).
Anyway, it was really good for Brad and I to get away...we had 7 hours in the car together to chat, plus just a nice weekend with good friends.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

We sent flowers, but unfortunately they delivered them today, not yesterday-when her actual b-day was! At least we got a discount.
Grandma/my mom, My Grandpa George and the Kiddos last year
Yesterday was my Mom's Birthday. We just wanted to say "Thank You" for being such a great Mom, Mother-in-Law and Grandma! You are always there when we need you. We love enjoying Razorback football with you guys, especially your "favorite" son-in-law.
From the Boys: We love coming to Grandma's house bc she spoils us, makes us yummy food, always has marshmallows in her pantry, and for once, our Mommy gets to be "taken care of" by her Mommy, which she needs every once in a while. One of our favorite things to say is "Well, Im just gonna call Grandma and she'll send it to me!" Side note-this is usually regarding some toy that Jackson HAS to have. One time he called my Mom and the conversation went something like this "Well Grandma, Mom says we need to use our money for food, but I really want the Iron Man Helmet, so can you just go get it and send it on the big truck to us?"
We love you Grandma/Mom/Gloria!

Big Birthday Party in Tulsa

Annabelle turns 2!
Kerry on the high dive!

Fearless Lizzie

Uncle Matt

We traveled to Tulsa this weekend for Will, Lizzie and Annabelle's b-day party. They are all born within 2 weeks of each other, so Eric and Kerry go all out and have a big b-day bash. This year they rented out a pool and cabin, had catered catfish for dinner, and each kid had an adorable 2 tiered cake. The boys had a blast...and as you can see, so did the adults! I even jumped off the high dive, but unfortunately I asked Will what "trick" he wanted me to do and he said "A Flip!" Never one to back down from a challenge, I conjured up the nerve and did a front flip off the high dive...I over-rotated, landed in an akward position and have been sore for days! Needless to say, I think my gymnastics/flipping days are over!
Anyway, it was a really fun weekend! Happy Birthday Will, Lizzie and Annabelle-we love you guys!!
